Treatment Methods:

 

There are several different types of formulations labeled to control for a variety of beetle species.   You can choose several different types of formulations for beetle control.  Liquid insecticides including Tempo Ultra SC, Cykick CS, demand CS, Bifen I/T are just a few liquid insecticides w/ residual that can control multiple pest infestations.  You want to mix liquid insecticides in a 1 or 3 gallon sprayer.  Mist spray diluted solution around door frames, window frames, garage, and foundation (3 foot treatment zone up the foundation and 3 feet on the ground away from the foundation around the entire perimeter of structure.)  Dust Formulations can be used to treat interior or exterior crack and crevice where the beetle infestation occurs.  For example, if you are having a lady bug infestions, use liquid insecticide around exterior/interior of the window frame, then use a dust formulation with a JT Eatons Hand Bellow (DeltaDust, Borid Dust, MotherEarthD, ECOPCOD, around window frame to allow for longer control.  Lady bugs are seasonal, so one treatment should take care of the problem.  If you do not want to use dust formulations, you can use an aerosol.  For example, CB-38, CB-80, MotherEarth PT 2%, Cykick CS, or PI Insecticide.  These can be used instead of dust formulations, but used the same way we use liquid insecticides or dust formulations. When treating for beetles that travel on the ground to get into the structure.  Try our granular insecticides Talstar PL, DeltaGard G, or demand G.  Use a Scotts Green Hand Spreader, fill container to appropriate amount depending on the area being treated.  Spread granules from the foundation up to 10 feet off the structure.  Once granules are down water 1/8 to 1/4 inch of water to activate chemical.  If you have any questions please call or email.

Cykick CS is a product that you mix with water to control annoying pests.  Easy tip and measure container.  Active ingredient is Cyfluthrin micro-encapsulated product.

Cynoff WP active ingredient is Cypermethrin.  Provides effective knock down and long lasting residual protection.  Scoop is included.  Just mix with water to control pests.

demand CS active ingredient is Lambda- cyhalothrin.  Indoor / outdoor use.  Easy tip and measure container.  Micro-encapsulated product.

demand G is a granular product labeled to control beetles.  This product will control several types of pests.  A hand spreader (sold separately) is recommended.

demon WP is in powder form.  Scoop included.  Active ingredient is Cypermethrin.  Provides knockdown and long lasting residual protection.   Just mix with water to control pests. 

Dragnet SFR active ingredient is Permethrin.  Easy tip and measure container.  Provides knockdown and residual protection.  is very popular amoung pest control professionals. 

Cyonara 9.7 active ingredient is Lambda-cyhalothrin.  Easy tip and measure container.  Indoor / Outdoor use. 

Eco EXEMPT KO is an eco product that treats multiple pests including beetles.  this product is a contact insecticide.  Indoor/ Outdoors.

Eco PCO ACU is another eco product labeled for several pests including beetles.  This is a contact insecticide.

Eco PCO AR-X another aerosol product which treats multiple pests including beetles.  Provides knockdown and long lasting residual action

Eco PCO D-X is a dust formulation which treats several types of pests including beetles.  This product provides knockdown and long lasting residual protection.

Mavrik Perimeter is for outdoor use only.  Active ingredient is Tau-fluvalinate.  Odorless.  8oz bottle makes multiple gallons of solution.

Microcare is an aerosol labeled to treat multiple pests including beetles.  Provides knockdown and long lasting residual protection

P.I. Insecticide is a contact insecticide.  Great for flushing and contact multiple pests in heavily populated areas.  18oz can.

Premise Foam is like D-Foam great for injections into wood and voids.  Active ingredient is Imidacloprid.  Apply to Galleries-nests-wood.

Pro Citra DL is a contact insecticide, which treats for a number of different pests including beetles.  This product active ingredients derived from plant essential oils.

Suspend SC active ingredient is Deltamethrin.  Micro-encapsulated product.  Provides effective knockdown and long lasting residual protection.  Indoor / Outdoor use.

Talstar P active ingredient is Bifenthrin.  Easy tip and measure container.  Provides effective knockdown and long lasting residual.  Indoor / outdoor.
